Join us in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota for a magical day and night of holiday festivities! Our city celebration includes the sparkle of downtown lights, an artisan market, business market, horse-drawn wagon rides, a llama wonderama, a living nativity, two very merry meat raffles, a lighted grand parade featuring Santa and Mrs. Claus, the Christmas concert of the season, endless shopping specials, Jingle Bingo, and more!

 

Enjoy a variety of menu items from our downtown eateries and warm up during the parade with free hot chocolate and candy for the kids!

& Retail Shopping

Visit the many artisan booths inside Riverside Terrace from 9:30-4:30 to find unique holiday gifts. Shop the downtown businesses throughout the day for holiday specials, eats, and treats!

Lighted Parade

Watch as performers and festive floats by community businesses and organizations light up the night during our holiday parade starting at 5pm on 2nd Avenue. Free hot chocolate along the route and candy for the kids. Watch for Santa and Mrs. Claus too!

Business Market
& Photos with Santa

Come to the Government Center on Summit Ave N from 9:30-4:30 to visit and shop with local businesses who will be showcased with a variety of products and services.

 

Families are invited to take photos with SANTA CLAUS (9:30-4pm) in the hallway to capture magical moments.

Horse-Drawn
Wagon Rides

Line up by the Riverside Terrace and get on board for a FREE wagon ride along River Avenue. The handlers from JR's Stables will feature their majestic horses pulling a wagon from 11am-3pm.

Llama Wonderama

Right outside the Riverside Terrace you can visit our friendly llamas from 11-3 and learn about these fascinating animals. Dress them up and take selfies. Llama Wonderama Buttons are $2. Get a free Sticker!

Meat Raffles

There will be TWO Very Merry Meat Raffles this year. One at the SR VFW and one at Danny's Dugout – both starting at 4pm. Win actual cuts of meat or choose Gift Cards to purchase your favorite products at Manea's Meats and Coborn's.

Living Nativity

Visit the Living Nativity display in Coborn's parking lot to celebrate the Christmas story – from 2pm-5pm performed by members of Living Waters Lutheran Church in Sauk Rapids.

Benton County Historical Museum

Go back in time to learn about the fascinating history of Sauk Rapids and its residents who shaped the community. Visit the Benton County Historical Museum at 202 2nd Ave South from 1pm-4pm and enjoy free cookies and beverages!

Christmas Concert by SRR Area Musicians Collective

A collective of Choirs, Ensembles, Bands, and musical groups will perform an unforgettable Christmas Concert for the community at 6:30pm at the SRR High School. The musicians come from all over the state to fill the evening with sounds of the season for all ages to enjoy! FREE ADMISSION–with goodwill donations accepted to support the Sauk Rapids-Rice Music Boosters. (SCAN THE QR CODE TO CONTRIBUTE)

Toys For Tots

Drop off new, unwrapped toys at the Sauk Rapids Fire Station, 408 N Benton Drive, from 1pm-4pm. Enjoy cookies, coffee and hot chocolate. Firefighters also will be collecting Toys for Tots at 5pm at the start of the Jingle & Mingle Lighted Parade! Thank you for your generosity to Toys for Tots!
